To me, “We the People” means that everyone comes from different cultures and backgrounds, and everyone should be treated equally and with respect. I chose to honor Pelé because he grew up in poverty and faced many challenges throughout his life. As a child, he practiced soccer with a mango because his family could not afford a real soccer ball. Even though he faced these obstacles, he never gave up and continued to work hard to achieve his dreams. Through his dedication and determination, he became one of the greatest soccer players in history. Pelé represents people who overcome difficulties and succeed despite the challenges they face. His story shows that with hard work and believing in yourself, anyone can achieve their goals.
