We the People means that everyone should be treated with the same rights and no one should be seen any different from any ordinary person. That’s what We the People means to me. This connects to my art work since I did an ordinary person who you might see randomly in some place and looks a little bit mean but is nice. I did this to represent how even an ordinary person shouldn’t be treated badly or overlooked just for the way they look but how they act. The thing that makes me feel like I belong in my community is how supportive my people are. By “my people”, I mean the Mexican community and how they are filled with love and compassion. The people I think are left from we the people are everyone, not just one type of country or community is safe from criticism. Everyone has their own opinion even if it’s a bad one, they have it and no one can just change their mind. I feel like everyone should be treated the same even if it’s the Americans, Dominicans, Mexicans, Europeans, Africans, and everyone else. These communities suffer from discrimination every single day but can’t do anything about it, everyone should be treated the same and with the same compassion and rights.
