“We the People” means to me is that all kinds of people are included in community and all people have the same equal rights. A historical person that fought to make “We the People” more inclusive for every one is Martin Luther King Jr which tried to make America be a country with equal rights for everybody which at that time it did not include black people. I think the ones that are still left out of “We the People” are people who come from other countries seeking a successful life but instead they are being treated as outsiders and are not given as many chances as “We the People” implied that there should be for everybody. My artwork connects to “We the people” because Pele (soccer player) helped many children that need equal rights and he launched a Foundation that helps many kids around the World in 2018.
