“We the People” means to me that people are brave and have the opportunity to make a difference. One reason I think Barack Obama is strong and brave is because he was the first Black president of the United States. He showed courage by running for president, knowing both the positive and negative challenges that could come with it. I think that Black people are still sometimes left out of “We the People” because they can experience racial comments and unfair treatment based on the color of their skin. Barack Obama showed that anything is possible and that a person’s skin color should not limit what they can achieve. His leadership inspired many people and demonstrated the importance of equality and opportunity for everyone.
