In my perspective, We The People means that we are all united no matter how different we are, someone could be black or LGBTQ but we are all still made out of the same flesh and bone so we will always be United because we are all the same. My painting connects to this for multiple reasons. One reason is because Barack Obama helped many people when he was president and he still does now which connects because when people are united they help each other and barack obama is doing just that. The people I feel are left out of what we call We The People are the immigrants because they are excluded from the U.S which is like the main place where We The People is applied. The other reasons I chose Obama is because of the specific things he did to help many people. Some of the specific things he did were provide better healthcare, education, economic relief, and he created the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden.
