“We The People” means to me that everyone should be equal as “We The People” sounds like we all stand together as a community and a country. The historical or current leaders that made “We The People” more inclusive to everyone are MLK and Abraham Lincoln. MLK really fought for Civil Rights and Racial equality which made him an advocate for everyone which matches “We The People.” Abraham Lincoln fought for the freedom of slavery and political and civil rights like voting. The person who is included in my idea of “We The People” is Abraham Lincoln as he fought against slavery and tried to make most southern states a free state for any slave and also fought for civil rights like voting. This connects to my art project of Abraham Lincoln as he was a person that represented “We The People” and most importantly fought for the rights and freedom of slaves and civil rights including voting.
