I chose Rosa Parks because I feel like she is very iconic for her actions, and I am mostly proud of how good I did even if I doubted myself.

I chose Dr Martin Luther King Jr. I chose him because he helped the civil rights movement and he also helped black people gain rights. One part of my portrait is his signature mustache.
I chose Christian Pulisic because he plays for the U.S national team and he represents our country and he won trophies.
I made my sister because she inspires me and she never gives up she works really hard for what she wants i am proud that i tried my best to make her look like she looks in real life and she is really strong and amazing i love her a lot.

In my artwork, I chose to honor Shakira. I think she should be honored in the Tapestry of NY because of her role as a global music pioneer, her deep advocacy for Latino and immigrant communities, and her massive philanthropic impact through education. Also, she brought people together with her music.
In my artwork, I chose to honor Michel Jackson. I think he should be honored because he makes really good music. The details I included are his famous songs such as “Human Nature” and “Beat It.”

In my artwork, I chose to honor Amelia Earhart. I think she should be honored in the Tapestry of NY because she was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, and she led the path for more women pilots.
In my artwork, I chose to honor Kamala Harris. I think she should be honored in the Tapestry of NY because she fought for criminal justice reform, economic equity, and voting access. She made sure more people were included in the United States by championing civil rights. The details I included to show their personality…
