“We The People” means that we are united, we are the same, we are EQUAL. The historical leader that helped to make “We The People” more inclusive is Martin Luther King (MLK) and Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the US. I know this because Martin Luther King, worked hard, taking the lead in the civil rights movement to show that black people are also equal. Abraham Lincoln worked hard to release the slaves. Even though in the time he was in slavery was normalized, he still wanted to set them free. The thing that makes me feel like I’m a part of my community is knowing that in my community we are all different, which makes none of us different. In fact, since we are all different, no one is different because different means you don’t share similarities, but since we are all different, we all share 1 similarity, and that’s being different.
